The Story of Miss Kitty

The current Miss Kitty is descendant from a long line of cats with attitude.  The first Miss Kitty was a long hair calico, that was born and abandoned in a neighbor's backyard.  She was a frail kitten but resisted all efforts to remove her from the place where the three kittens had been left by their mother.  She was finally caught with the lure of food.  She became queen of the neighborhood and expected homage from every cat that crossed her territory.

Upon the death of Miss Kitty, everyone was heartbroken.  It was not long before we were contacted by a friend that had a new litter of kittens.  We were instantly drawn to a tiny calico kitten, probably because she looked so much like the original Miss Kitty.  We adopted the little kitten and today she thrives in San Diego, California

Miss Kitty is very much her own "person".  She wakes very early each morning and expects breakfast to be ready at her feeding station , along with fresh bottled water.  After finishing breakfast and cleaning up, she goes out to survey her domain, the back yard.  Once she determines that all is as it should be, she retires to her favorite tree where she sleeps most of the day, except for "potty" breaks.  Nights are spent in various spots around the house and she may creep onto the bed when weather is cool.
